How We Help You After a Car Crash

You’ve just been in a car crash. You’ve heard that chiropractic can help to alleviate your pain and assist your body in the healing process. Now what? How do you choose a chiropractor? And what happens when you go to your appointments?

At Accident and Injury Chiropractic, we reach out to help you before you ever set foot in one of our 11 clinics. When you contact us by calling the number on our website or filling out our confidential form, we’ll set an appointment for you at the clinic of your choice. Because we are located throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, you can choose a clinic near you.

But we won’t stop there. We know that moderate to severe injuries from a car wreck can make it difficult or even impossible for you to get to your appointment. You may not feel well enough to drive, or you may not have transportation. No worries! We can also set an appointment for you to be picked up in one of our clean, comfortable vans. Our van drivers are part of our team of caring professionals, so they will treat you with the compassionate assistance you deserve.

What happens if you need transportation the day of your chiropractic appointment but weren’t scheduled to be picked up? Again, no worries. Just let our receptionist know, and she’ll schedule you that day.

When you arrive at the clinic for your consultation, we want to hear what you have to say. You’ll tell us about the crash that led to your injuries, describe those injuries and the pain you’re suffering, and tell us about any other problems—like sleep issues or dizziness—that you’re experiencing. We’ll review your medical history and request any pertinent medical records. Then we’ll perform a thorough, full-body, orthopedic, neurologic, and physical examination. We’ll take x-rays, if necessary, to help us fully diagnose and treat your injuries. And f you need an MRI, we have our own facilities including White Rock Open Air MRI, North Texas Open Air MRI, and DFW CT Scan. We offer all these services for your convenience and for us to be able to provide effective diagnosis and treatment to you, our patient. Then we’ll completely document our findings.

Before you leave, we’ll schedule an appointment with you for the next day for our report of findings (ROF). At that appointment, we’ll discuss the results from your comprehensive exam and any scans you’ve received. Then we’ll go over your personalized plan of treatment to get you on the road to relief and healing ASAP. We encourage you to bring a family member and/or loved one to your ROF appointment for support and to better understand your injuries and treatment plan, as it can be difficult to focus and understand information when you’re dealing with injuries.

Throughout the process, we’ll answer any questions you have and help you file your paperwork. And we’ll treat you with the kindness and caring you deserve! It’s what we call the Pro Treatment, and the sooner you contact us, the sooner you can experience the Pro Treatment for yourself!
