Just last week, our own Dr. Lou Saucedo, D.C. was on-hand for the Lewisville Fighting Farmers’ 2nd Annual Spring Game Festival at Max Goldsmith Stadium. Along with a variety of food vendors, each year the festival offers lots of activities for both children and adults including a dunk tank, face painting, a bounce house, an obstacle course, booth games, and performances from the Farmerettes and cheer team.
The event culminates in two football scrimmage games—one between the junior varsity team players and the other between the varsity team players. These scrimmages conclude the football teams’ spring training and give the coaches the opportunity to evaluate players and fans the chance to get to know their teams for the upcoming school year.
Head football coach Michael Odle came up with the idea for the Lewisville festival after seeing similar events held by other schools. He sees it as a perfect opportunity for people “to support the kids, to support the community and the school,” and that’s something we here at Accident & Injury love to do.
Since the temperature for the May 16th event this year topped out at a toasty 86 degrees, Dr. Saucedo handed out water bottles to help fans stay hydrated along with mini footballs for the kids to take home. According to Dr. Saucedo, the event was a blast, and he appreciated the opportunity to represent Accident & Injury Chiropractic to the Lewisville community!
