Dallas Mayor’s Back To School Fair – A Fabulous Event
An estimated 35,000 people attended the Mayor’s Annual Back to School Fair at Fair Park on Saturday, August 4th, and Accident and Injury Chiropractic was there to share in the event. We gave out 4,000 seven-inch foam footballs and 4,000 lip balms to participants who visited our booth. The day was especially great for Dr. Lou Saucedo, Jr., D.C. and Rebecca from our Oak Cliff clinic who manned our booth and ran into quite a few of their former patients while there!
This was the 20th anniversary of this annual event that provides school supplies, health screenings and services, and an array of bilingual information from educational, social, government and community organizations for needy Dallas residents. The fair has mushroomed from an event that originally attracted around 1,000 people and a dozen or so organizations to an event with numbers so large that people actually lined up before dawn to be sure they could get into the fair. According to Dr. Saucedo, the energy and pace of the occasion were extremely high—and so was the fun!
Accident and Injury Chiropractic appreciates the opportunity we were given to be a part of such an important event. We care about our Dallas/Fort Worth community and will continue to do all we can to help those who need it—whether through occasions like the fair or through our Pro Treatment at all of our clinics.
